Arctic releases 2008 Product Line |
|
Edmonton, AB, March 6, 2008 - Arctic Spas presented their new product lineup at their International Dealer Conference held February 4-12 in Quebec, Canada. Now that all changes are in full production, the lineup has been officially released.
New jets, new lighting options, wider and deeper seats, changes to acrylic and cabinet colors, and the new Onzen water care system highlight the changes. Onzen™, "natural salt water care made easy", is a high-end system that combines ozone, saline sanitization, and silver ion generation. The integrated system includes hybrid UV technology, long-lasting titanium electrodes, an improved ozone injector and countercurrent mixing chamber. The system is conveniently controlled from the spa topside and can use either sodium or bromine salt. (Silver ion system available US and Europe only for 2008, expected in Canada in 2009) . New jet options include out-of-water neck and shoulder jets for all models at the Signature level and above. A new high-flow Monsoon jet has replaced the Orca. All jets have been totally redesigned with a new cam-lock retention system. Except for the neck and Monsoon jets, which are not backwards compatible, the new cam-lock jets can be retrofitted.
Waterfalls and multi-LED lighting are now available on more models. All moulds were reshaped to accommodate the new jets and other changes, and during this revision, many seats were made wider and some models were made slightly deeper.
Many of the most significant changes are internal and will not be immediately obvious, according to Communications Officer Tom Gray. We took advantage of the mould revisions to make many improvements that will streamline production and enhance our major goals of user comfort, energy efficiency and product quality.
The company is in the process of outsourcing its web site design and the 2008 revisions will not be online until this has been completed. |
